So I think hiatus no longer covers it...
LOOK!
I'm so upset over how my Mommy has neglected my blog that my ears fell off.
Okay, not really. But I am a bit upset. Sadly I don't have thumbs...or fingers...and I can't really spell, so I wouldn't have much luck updating it on my own.
For your trouble, and the dire concern I'm sure was raised in your heart at my absence from your computer screens, I'm making Mommy post extra things in THIS post in the hopes that she will learn her lesson and keep this blog up to date.
I don't hold out much hope that it will work, but you never know.
Please enjoy these scenes from the past few months:
I ate NEITHER the tree nor the tree skirt that Mommy put on me like I was going to get my hair done in 1955. I was sorely tempted on both fronts, however... especially after this picture was taken.
What I did instead was spin around and around because that stupid skirt kept following me and I couldn't shake it. You would think it would have gotten dizzy at some point, but nope.
Mommy put it on Daisy too, but she made me promise not to let Mommy put THAT picture in the blog or she would tell Mommy and Daddy about all the times that I have snuck into their room and...
Wait, nothing to see here, moving on. Christmas! Christmas! Look down there...
We had some visitors for Christmas. As you can see, we all tried our hypnotic eye powers on Mommy but NONE of us got any of her food.
Now at some point last year Daisy got to go to the vet but came back short one tooth, and sometimes I
think she gets sad about that. It could also be the numerous Elvis jokes that Mommy makes now, but I'm not sure. To be honest, I don't know who Elvis is.
This picture was taken by my Auntie Laze and Mommy loves it because she says she always takes "Walking Away Pictures" with her hounds. Whatever.
That day was awesome, we went hiking and I got to smell lots of new smells and see different dogs and my "Michigan Aunties" went with us. Only thing that might have made it better is if Millie could have gone...
Durango and Sydney came with my Michigan Aunties. Have you ever tried to keep pace with another dog that is 1/100th your size?
It snowed some this year but not as much as last year. There was nothing really for me to play in, and by play in, I mean eat.
Seriously. Keep your Ben and Jerry's. I'll take fresh snow out of my backyard, please. Good stuff.
I did a lot of this from January to now. Only sometimes I was lying down while watching the Squirrels on the deck. I need to make a note to teach Mommy how to say that word properly.
Only Daddy says it the right way.
The marvelous creature under my torso here is Duke...I don't know what it is about him but...I love him.
I'm a little concerned that he doesn't feel the same way, though.
Not sure what makes me worry, exactly...
So that's what's been up with me for a few months. A lot of sleeping and general destruction. Stuffies have been destuffed, tennis balls have been broken in half. You know, the usual. I promise to keep Mommy on track. And with that...on to the next! I've got an episode of The Following to watch while she works.
Cheers!
Bryn the Muppet
